What Are My Students Thinking?: Advances in Neuroscience

Brief Description:
Recent advances in technology have allowed neuroscientists to better understand brain development, especially in adolescents. In this workshop, we will examine some of the recent research on brain development, including brain anatomy and chemistry. We will discuss how changes in brain development impact student learning and behavior. Additionally, we will discuss short- and long-term impacts of substance use on brain development.

This workshop will be facilitated by the UA LINKS Training Team from the University of Arizona.

Note: Registration will begin at 8:00 - Workshop will begin at 8:30 AM and end at 3:30 PM.

Breakfast and lunch will NOT be provided at this workshop.
