Brief Description:
NSDC's goal is that all teachers in all schools will experience high-quality learning by 2007 as a part of their daily work. NSDC is committed to ensuring success for all students through staff development and school improvement. This website contains resources for principals and superintendents that want to organize and guide staff development for teachers. NSDC offers assistance directly to school districts and conduct workshops, academies, and conferences on topics related to needs of preK-12 staff.

Not only does NSDC provide workshops and conferences, but they research successful models of staff development. Their extensive library of research materials include the following topics and more: staff development models, data and research, ethics, diversity, equity, leadership, leadership teams, learning communities, evaluation, and change.
