Students Who Drop Out of School
SchoolsMovingUp is hosting a series of WestEd-sponsored webinars related to the education goals of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). These free webinars feature leading experts on themes and principles for making progress on state and local education reforms. This fall the series will focus on issues related to students who dropout of school, specifically reducing school dropout rates, supporting adjucated youth and pregnant teens, addressing the reenrollment challenge, and engaging overaged and undercredited students. The archives from the past webinars in this ARRA series feature national experts on early childhood, English Learners, standards and assessment, charter schools, and turning around low-performing schools. These archives are available to view at any time.
