Description

Kathy Dunne, Director of Professional Development with Learning Innovations at WestEd and co-author of Mentoring New Teachers Through Collaborative Coaching: Linking Teacher and Student Learning, will facilitate an interactive webinar that will clarify roles and responsibilities of mentors as collaborative coaches, learn about the impact of coaching on new teacher learning, and examine how the needs of new teachers impact mentors as collaborative coaches. The webinar will also feature a live collaborative coaching conversation. Finally, participants will learn about several tools to assess mentor programs and coaching performance. Following the session, participants will be able to download several free tools and resources.
