In this webinar, Jim Coombs, principal of Buena Park High School in Fullerton, CA, will share how his school works with its primary feeder middle school to ensure successful transition, creates a niche for every student, and works closely with administrative staff at Fullerton School District to provide a broad range of academic offerings ranging from award winning agricultural programs to a number of courses leading to college credit.

This webinar is targeted at school and district administrators, school counselors, teachers, school board members—anyone with an interest in strategies for promoting academic and graduation success at high poverty high schools. The presentation will highlight this cross-school coordination and how it has changed the focus of the students, faculty and administrators at these sites to ensure that all students have great opportunities to learn, graduate, and participate in post-secondary education.
