Abstract (written by WestEd)

This issue of the Head Start Bulletin is aimed at supporting fathers and addresses the following topics: the benefits fathers provide for children, addressing fathers' needs, building a solid foundation for the involvement of fathers in Head Start, and how to implement a "fatherhood program." The issue provides examples of best practices from Early Head Start programs from locations as widespread as Boston, Texas, Mississippi, and the Caribbean. The resources section provides tips in English and Spanish for creating a family storybook. The bulletin also provides a list of general resources and a "webliography."
