Professional Development Services Professional development and facilitation/coaching services combine face-to-face consultations and trainings with Web-based communication, information sharing and networking. The list of offerings will grow, so visit often. Local Accountability Professional Development Series Helps administrators create and implement a research-based assessment and accountability system. This system allows you to tailor curriculum to quickly and effectively boost performance – ensuring that all students meet state and federal requirements. Strategic Literacy Initiative Helps students become more motivated and successful readers and writers. Using the research-based instructional framework, Reading Apprenticeship®, SLI offers intensive hands-on training to improve the teaching effectiveness of content-area middle and high school teachers, literacy coaches, and teacher educators nationwide. Technology for Diverse Learners This project provides resources, research, and services to assist general and special education teachers, technology coordinators, and administrators with professional development efforts in integrating technology into instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students in their classrooms. |
